Request for Prayer - 2 Thessalonians 3
1 Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you. 2 And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one. 4 We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command. 5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and Christ's perseverance.Financial Support:
Our trip is over and we greatly appreciate your support of us and getting to pass along much of your generosity to ministries in India! If you are interested in further giving to India, please let us know! We would love to connect you with a ministry you're interested in--some wonderful people working in slums, schools, and hospitals, and with tribals, orphans, families, and even girls formerly in brothels.
Update: We're there!
Thank you all so much for your generosity!! We currently (6/24/11) have $13,500!! Thank you for your generosity in helping us financially! We are still figuring out how much we actually need for the trip, but God has so graciously provided us above and beyond what we asked for, and housing and airline tickets have been within our original budget too! If we have any excess, we plan to bless the ministries with whom we are working. We still need your prayers! Thank you!!
